Hydroraking

Recurring visitors to the trail around the pond may have noticed how the pond is shrinking as sediment is washed down the stream and settles in the pond. There is talk that a hydroraking project, which would remove the sediment in the pond, but not excavate it beyond its natural depth, may be approved by the city. It would be great to reclaim the pond!
