The Friends of Foote's Pond Wood has received several accolades over the years. While we do not like to brag, we must acknowledge how contributions of time from so many members of the greater Morristown community are the reason that FoFPW received these awards. Land Ethics Award for Best Community Effort
2025
FoFPW was recognized for its "immense efforts in promoting the use and enjoyment of native plants in the landscape"at the 2025 Land Ethics Symposium, presented by Bowman's Hill Wildflower Preserve.
Zone Civic Improvement Commendation2025
FoFPW was recognized by the Garden Club of America for outstanding contributions in conservation, environmental protection, and community betterment through gardening knowledge and practices.
Environmental/Conservation Award
2022
FoFPW was granted the 2022 Environmental / Conservation Award from the Morris Park Alliance for our "dedication to the care and preservation" of FPW.
